- Despite its stats, it is a good starter horse, and a great investment on account of all the extra loot it can carry, especially if you trade Pebbles for him.
- This horse is tied with Shadowmere in terms of having the best carry weight of all horses, however, the latter is a complete upgrade to Trojan regarding the other stats.

- Like the other horses, Trojan is listed as an Easter egg.
- The name "Trojan" is a reference to the famous trojan horse, an enormous wooden horse built by the Greeks after the 10-year siege of Troy. The Horse was dragged inside Troy as a prize, but unbeknownst to the Trojans, it contained several Greeks. Under the cover of darkness, they crept out of the horse and opened the gates to let in their army.
