- Historical Accuracy: This "Cuman" chainmail is largely modeled after plated mail primarily worn by the Islamic world in the 15th century, though it could also be found in Eastern Europe and Central Asia where it was spread by the Golden Horde, as well as South and East Asia in later decades. Despite what is suggested by its stats in-game, it was largely favored over lamellar (classified as body plate) due to the greater protection especially for the weight, and would almost completely replace it in the Islamic world by the end of the 15th century. Additionally, the odds of the Cumans themselves wearing it are fairly low as they were primarily equipped in a Western manner much like the Hungarians or Bohemians.
