The Bailiff's office was situated in Silver Skalitz, near the village pond and Kunesh's house. The back half of the building served as the seat of the local bailiff and of the catchpole. The front functioned as the shop of the Skalitz General Trader, while the center room and top-storey were utilized as her storage area, kitchen and bedroom. There is a jail in the basement.
In 1403 the building was destroyed during the attack of King Sigismund. Anyone who had been recently arrested, such a (hypothetically) young blacksmith, would be trapped and die when the building burned.
